Mountain Mural
This mural came to life during the pandemic. I was quarantined and had a lot of time on my hands. I covered my bed, taped the sides of the wall, and sketched some raw outlines of a mountain landscape fading into the horizon. I only had two paint colors that I found in my house. I mixed them throughout the project to create the gradual colors you see in the video.
This only took a couple hours total. It’s a really easy project that adds such dimension to a space. Try it!

Woodburning
I got introduced to this special medium through my dad, who was a shop teacher before he retired. Woodburning is an intimate way to connect with a piece of nature. It makes such a phenomenal gift that lasts a lifetime.
For example, my dad's family is from Switzerland. I woodburned an edelweiss flower in about 10 minutes, inscribed a heart on the back, and gave it to him. He absolutely loved it and put it on display in our house.
Woodburning is one of my favorite ways to create art. Inscribing a wind chime windvein, a truck build-out, a knife handle… the options are endless.
